    “I　heard　you　are　a　good　friend　of　Director　Edward　Cooper.”（我听说你和Edward　Cooper导演是好朋友。）姜灏也没再绕弯子，直接说出了自己这次来的目的。

    “Yes.　We　were　roommates　in　college.”（是的，我们是大学舍友。）

    “Dyn　got　an　audition　for　the　leading　role　in　Mr　Cooper’s　new　movie，　but　for　some　reasons　he　couldn’t　make　it.”（Dyn得到了Cooper先生新电影男主角的面试，但是因为某些原因，他没能去成。）

    “Were　you　that　reason，　Mr.　Jiang?”（你是那个原因吗，姜先生？）John疑问的语气下却已经给出了近乎肯定的答案。

    “I’m　afraid　I　’t　answer　no　to　that.”（我恐怕不能回答’不’。）姜灏微笑着说，“I　hope　you　　talk　into　your　friend　to　give　Dyn　another　ce.”（我希望你能说服你朋友再给Dyn一次机会。）
